Team Singapore held our last TT of 2008 last night at J Bar in M Hotel. There’ll be no TT in December during the week of Christmas.
It was a night for double celebration as we also sprung a surprise birthday party for Joanne!

TMS CEO and global citizen Gary Marshall - most recently spotted in Toyko last weekend - popped up in Shanghai less than a week later at CITM!
This year’s China International Travel Mart (CITM) was held at the Shanghai New Expo Centre. This massive annual event was jointly organised by the China National Tourism Administration, the Shanghai Municipal People’s Government and the General Administration of Civil Aviation of China.
According to the World Tourism Organisation, China is set to be the most popular destination in the world by 2020. So don’t be surprised to see more of these large conferences that draw the biggest and best of the travel & hospitality industries to China.
TMS Team Shanghai was on the scene at the TravelWeekly China Industry Awards evening held at the Le Royal Meridien Shanghai. Award winners were chosen by almost 600,000 TravelWeekly China readers via an online poll. The awards presented during this ceremony celebrated the the best in China and Asia’s travel and tourism industry, both inbound and outbound.
Andrew was also at the event as a presenter and to congratulate the happy winners.

The Brisbane TMS Asia Pacific team donned their best frocks for Melbourne Cup and celebrated at one of Brisbane’s best restaurants “Ecco”.
A great afternoon was had by all, shame about the lack of wins on the horses!

Congratulations to the TMS ”Return of the Lucky Duck” Contest Winners!
Participants had to enter an online Flash game and attempt to “save” a stream of falling ducks with a life preserver. Once successful, they could then register their names and details into a lucky draw for the ultimate prize of a brand new Apple iPhone.
